Drawing & Designs

I am a strong believer that every tattoo should be unique to each person, So designs will be drawn up with that person in mind.

I will Usually I do a lot of the designing/planning prior to drawing. then any drawing is done in the nights leading up to the appointment, but it can be anywhere up to the morning of a tattoo appointment.

Drawing the Tattoo Design so close to the appointment, also enables me to have the design 'fresh in my mind' for the appointment.

On occasion I will send mock ups over prior to an appointment or even booking the tattoo. this would be discussed during our consultation.

e-mails/social media messages are very time consuming. along with the knowledge that on occasion people change their minds about an aspect of a design close to their appointment.

It makes me sad having to become strict with this but, it's becoming necessary.

here we go. . . Small changes, tweaks etc can usually be accommodated prior to the appointment, I will need you to tell me what they are as soon as possible, because it might affect the length of time the tattoo will take etc.

Most small tweaks can easily be made on the day. But as I tend to work in Black and Grey realism or Geometry the design will either be the same as the reference picture, or I will have multiple Mandalas and repeat patterns for you to choose from. So a lot less to change there.

However if you decide to completely change the design, I will need to know asap because the appointment might need moving to a more suitable time slot, if this is done under the required notice of 7 days it might result in you loosing your deposit. Likewise the deposit will also be lost if it's a style I don't work in.

This is due to the increasing number of people booking for a specific design, in a style I specialise in then changing their mind to a totally different design which is a different style to which I work in.

Meaning the time taken consulting over the original design, the admin of getting them booked in, prepping the design and then booking time out in the diary, which if postponed/cancelled is a day of lost earnings and time/advice I could have spent with someone else.

Minimal yet informative e-mailing is very much appreciated,  it allows me more time to spend on designs.

Thank you.
